FA Solutions team is welcoming Peter, Arto, Ekaterina, and Evren

“Hello there, my name is Peter. I joined FA in the beginning of July to work as a Technical Consultant, reinforcing the Customer Services team. I’m a local of the Helsinki area, but my IT Bachelor’s degree is from Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland.

Previously I have worked as a consultant dealing with an ERP system as well as software solutions for the marine industry. Over the past two years I’ve been ‘back to school’, studying hard for a Master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Helsinki. I’m hoping to see myself graduate during this autumn semester.

In my free time I am an avid aviator, video gamer, board gamer, R/C aeroplane pilot, martial artist, historical fencer, metalhead, medieval military history fan, heraldry fan, and an army reserve officer, in no particular order.

I’m grateful for this work opportunity and aim to put my education and experience to good use in this position. I’m looking forward to learning a lot of new things, especially about the financial sector, since it’s a whole new field for me.”

“Hi! My name is Arto. I will be working as a Consultant in project team X of the Professional Services. I have lived in Helsinki now a little over a year and before coming to FA I worked in Metso as a Project Manager. Before that I lived in Pori where I am also originally from.

In Pori I worked in a company called Luvata in various roles. Lately, I worked there as Project Manager but before that I was heavily involved in MES development. I have also lived in Lappeenranta as I did my Master of Science studies in the Lappeenranta University of Technology.

In my leisure time I like to do a lot of sports. At the moment, I mainly go to the gym, swim, play tennis, hike and cycle in summer time, and cross country ski in winter time.

I feel super excited to join FA. The first couple of weeks have proved that the tasks to work with will be very interesting and the personnel in the company is very nice and helpful.”

“Hello there! My name is Ekaterina, but I prefer being called just Kate. It seems easier and more international for me. I was born in Ukraine and raised in Russian Federation. At the age of seventeen I started my unforgettable adventure of living independently in Finland. I moved here to study BBA in International Business at one of the universities of applied sciences, which I am currently successfully finishing up.

Apart from studies and work, I love to dance. I’ve been a professional disco dancer for 12 years, represented the country at world championships, and also started teaching kids various dancing styles. The dancing part of my life has stopped for a while when I moved to Finland, but I am surely planning to bring it back in the nearest future.

I am incredibly happy and excited to get this chance to be a part of FA Solutions family as a Marketing Trainee. My current responsibilities include taking care of general marketing, event, and office management tasks.

These first days have been fantastic, I got lots of support and help from my colleagues. Looking forward to showing my best and contributing to FA Solutions growth!”

“I am a new member of Core Product Development team in Helsinki, just arrived to Helsinki three months ago from the country where I was born and raised, Turkey.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering at Aegean University. During my career I had the opportunity to work in Accenture and Ericsson as a Software Developer. My focus is decentralization of systems.

Speaking about hobbies, I really like playing tennis, camping, swimming, and riding motorcycles. These are the ones that I haven’t started doing in Helsinki yet. Nowadays, I spend my free time travelling, running, and learning Finnish.

I am super excited to be in FA Solutions and contribute to achieving our goals. I feel extremely lucky to live and work in Helsinki where I can meet new people, as well as explore new hobbies and cultures.”
