“After receiving my degree at one of Europe’s oldest universities, Uppsala University in Sweden, I spent the last 15 years working within capital markets across the continent, including London, Paris and Luxembourg. In my last role, I was a fixed income trader at SEB in Stockholm. But I decided to make a career change. I have a genuine passion for new technology and financial markets. At FA, I found a perfect fit for combining those two interests of mine. I strongly believe that FinTech is the way forward and a next natural step in the development of financial markets.

Currently, I am part of the projects team at FA. My previous experiences will allow us to gain an even better understanding of our clients’ needs and offer them a superior product.

When not in the office, I spend as much time as I can with my family. We enjoy travelling together and try to discover new destinations whenever we get a chance.”

“I started working at FA in February 2018, after spending the last 8 years at Lannebo Fonder in different positions (latest as Head of Back office). Before that I worked at Sörmlands Sparbank (Swedish Savings Bank) which was my first job after studying. I have a Bachelor of Science in Business & Economics from Lund University in Sweden. I love working in the Finance industry and I am very excited about the current shift towards more technology-based Finance.

I will work as a Senior Consultant at FA which means project management and helping clients setting up solutions suited for their business-needs. Since I´ve worked in Finance for 9 years that´s my strength but I am also very interested in learning more about the tech-side.

Outside of work I enjoy travelling, eating good food and exercising. My favourite sports are climbing, running, swimming and skiing. But I also love to learn new things!

My wish is that I can bring some new insights to FA in my experience from Finance and from being on the client-side my whole career.”

“Hi! I’m Matti and I started at FA in the Helsinki office at the beginning of February. I graduated from Tampere University of Technology just a few days ago where I studied Industrial Engineering and Management. I moved from Tampere here to the Capital Region after the new year, so everything feels new and exciting for me. I’m truly enjoying being here.

I’ve previously worked alongside my studies in a Finnish fintech company as a Systems Designer. At FA I’m working as a Technical Consultant, so my job is more or less trying to fulfill customer needs by using the existing tools within the FA Platform. Based on my background I believe I’ll bring a good combination of technical know-how and understanding customer business into FA.”
