Peter joined the FA Team as a Product Manager with a strong background in asset and portfolio management, whereas Sara, currently finishing her master’s studies, is the first official intern in our Stockholm office. They are both excited about their new career path and joining FA Solutions, and are now telling more about themselves. Say hello to our new Stockholm colleagues!
Peter Tram
“My whole working career has been in asset and portfolio management, including financial product development, portfolio management, trading and market analysis. Before joining FA Solutions, I worked as a portfolio manager for ATP in Denmark with focus on portfolio construction and long-term risk premiums.
I am a CFA charter holder and a graduate from KTH with a M.Sc. degree in Engineering Physics. Having a huge interest for technology and innovations combined with a long working experience in asset management, a FinTech company like FA Solutions makes a perfect match. During my parental leave, I therefore decided to change my career path into FinTech, in order to take part of what I believe is the future of finance and asset management.
At FA Solutions, in the role as a product manager, I will leverage and develop the front office solutions within risk and portfolio management for our clients, taking advantage from my own experience.
On a personal level, I come from a huge family with Asian roots, having more than 42 cousins, that I know of, spreading all over the world. Despite my passion for travelling, I haven’t yet managed to catch up with all of them. As a father of two small kids, my hobbies are nowadays limited to being a proud football coach for my 5-year-old son and his team at Hammarby football club.”
Sara Irfan
“Born and raised in Stockholm, but a globetrotter at heart. I have lived and worked abroad privately and also been part of trips abroad with my university. My family is spread all over the world and English is my mother tongue since my parents are from Karachi, Pakistan. I have always attended international schools in Stockholm.
Previously I worked as a financial advisor and at the real estate division at a bank. I also have experience with sales. I believe I can contribute and relate the most to international customers as well as research regarding different areas of the globe due to my background.
I have studied Spanish at university level, and am learning French on my own. My plan is to learn Arabic on a professional level in the near future. On my free time I like to play tennis, which I have played since I was 8 years old. I love going to music concerts or just to go out and dance. My favorite music is House and my absolute favorite band is Motley Crue. They give me strength and relax me before tough exams, haha! I also love painting!
Airports make me feel adventurous and limitless, and my passion to travel arises from there. I love travelling and meeting people from different cultures. My next planned trip is to Mexico.
I feel extremely lucky to get the opportunity to do an internship at such an exciting, fast growing and or future oriented corporation like FA Solutions and look forward to the time I will spend here.”
