FA Solutions Denmark hosted a breakfast seminar in Copenhagen on January 22nd, 2016. The seminar was targeted at IFAs and focused on the implications with the new MiFID II directive.
The seminar started with a buffet breakfast and the opportunity for attendees to network and catch up on different business relations, followed by a welcome and introduction to the agenda by Mads Jensen, FA Solutions Denmark. Immediately after that, Lawyer Kim Høibye from NJORD Law Firm brought everybody up to speed by taking them through the MiFID directive. He started out with the initial intentions of the first directive and ended up with the requirement imposed to IFAs specifically as a consequence of the MiFID II directive.
After a short break Allan Lorentzen, FA Solutions Denmark, gave a short introduction to FA Solutions with the main focus on data import, advisory processes and customised reporting. Both of the latter points on the agenda went on further than scheduled due to a lively interaction from the attendees.
“Based on the many questions and comments as well as the feedback we have received so far, we believe the seminar was a huge success and it is certainly likely that we will follow up with similar initiatives” says Mads Jensen, FA Solutions Denmark.
