FA had a business continuity and disaster recovery rehearsal where two sites from Stockholm and Helsinki changed the location and support over 2.000 kilometers. One FA site in Asia continued to cover the customer support in the short period during the flights.
As well as FA planned the continuity as a process by which we resume business after a disruptive event. The case of emergency can be something extensive – as an earthquake or the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center – or something small, like malfunctioning software caused by a computer virus.
FA planned the business continuity with multiple back-ups in the areas of: connections, people, computers, softwares and more. The analysis of rehearsal is clear and simple – one should always have back up for back up and there is clearly number one risk factor – it is a human error.
