This Tuesday, March 19th, FA Solutions held an afternoon seminar in Guernsey together with a great team from Calastone. During the event, we demonstrated our new cool automated trading connectivity between FA and Calastone to send and receive fund orders. The reason we hosted this seminar in Guernsey is that we see a demand there for such solutions.
We began by rebalancing a number of customer portfolios versus a model in FA, then bulked the orders and sent them to Calastone where they immediately appeared in their trade plotter. Calastone processes the orders by sending them on to various TA’s, and in real time updating the original order in FA with current statuses.
Once executed on TA’s side, Calastone automatically updated the order in FA, where the execution of the trade order triggered transactions to be created on all client portfolios. No faxes, no emails, just pure and beautiful digitalization!
We also had a Guernsey-based family office, that uses FA Platform, as a speaker. Their managing director Rodger Clarke told about what they have achieved with FA. His great presentation was much appreciated by the audience.
